New York, NY- With all the talk about travel, there is clearly focused “travel talk” on travel expert Stephanie Abrams' nationally syndicated radio show, “Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!” Effective May 2, 2004, the show will air on Florida's 50,000 watt station, WWNN AM 1470 on Sundays from 7pm to 9pm EST. Heard coast-to-coast on the Business Talk Radio Network simultaneously in the 7 to 9pm EST time slot and online at www.businesstalkradio.net, the addition of WWNN expands the show's audience to Florida's Gold Coast primarily reaching listeners from North Miami, through Broward and Palm Beach Counties with coverage extending north to Jupiter, Florida.

“It was exciting to receive the call from the station's general manager, Bob Morency, who told me he had heard the show and wanted to carry it on WNN AM 1470 Health Talk & Motivation Radio!” Abrams states. “The synergy between the Florida listener interested in health, fitness, and wellness and the travel opportunities we explore on my show is strong. There is no question that a restful, uplifting, enriching travel experience is a great prescription for a healthful life. With Dave Isby, my on-air ‘Traveling Companion,' we present valuable information and interview key executives at tourism boards, hotels and inns, cruise lines, spa and golf resorts, tour operators, airlines and car rental companies who share up-to-date information and money-saving value-packed opportunities for the traveler. And we explore how to take the hassle out of road warriors' stressful travel schedules by presenting hotels with pampering services,” Abrams explains. “Our listeners can call in with compelling questions and to win a never-ending assortment of travel prizes.”

Prizes have included: a Delta Queen cruise, an Amtrak Vacations trip to New Orleans complete with a stay at the Holiday Inn French Quarter, a cruise with American West Steamboat, a Caribbean cruise with MSC Italian Cruises, stays at SuperClubs Resorts in the Caribbean and Avalon Resorts in Mexico, air tickets with Hawaiian Airlines and a stay at the deluxe Mauna Lani Bay Hotel and Bungalows.

A weekly feature introduced when Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams was expanded to two hours in August, 2003, is ‘Caribbean Corner,' a segment introduced by Berthia Parle, President-elect of the Caribbean Hotel Association, who, “in her very special style, exuding Caribbean charm and hospitality, Berthia invites my national audience to relax, imagine themselves under a palm tree with a ‘magnificent cocktail' in their hands and pay close attention to what the Caribbean hotelier, Minister or Director of Tourism, or resort owner has to say in that portion of the show,” Stephanie explains. “Berthia sets the tone for the guests who join us who are a great source of expert information and motivate my listeners to pack their bags and head for the Caribbean! Our programming is compelling and our guests are powerful motivators!”

When asked, “What is the perfect time to travel?” Abrams states, “When you have the time, the money and the health! Don't wait for some perfect mythical time because it doesn't exist and life manages to get in the way.”

And when asked if it's safe to travel, Abrams explains, “ My attitude is to avoid any places that have been placed on the US Government travel advisory lists, which you can easily find linked at my award-winning website, www.sabrams.com , but I can't tell you the last time I wanted to go to Afghanistan! Using your good common horse-sense, you can travel, have wonderful experiences and return to talk about it! You can't out-guess the Lord! When He wants you, He'll find you. In the meantime, don't be afraid to live!” Abrams concludes.
