Etravnet.com, Inc Forms Strategic Partnership With GoIreland.com Sep-28-2000

Englewood Cliffs, NJ (September 28, 2000): ReZconnect, the unique net-to-phone-to-net technology of Etravnet.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:otcbb:ETVT) today forged a strategic partnership with GoIreland.com, according to Etravnet.com’s Executive Vice President, Stephanie Abrams. “The purpose of our relationship is to provide Etravnet’s corporately owned, private labeled, and affiliated websites with access to the rich content of the GoIreland site and to provide the GoIreland company with use of our ReZconnect technology to create efficient booking access to the more than 11,000 hotels, stately homes and mansions, inns, Bed & Breakfast lodgings, and farmhouses in the GoIreland.com family of properties,” Abrams states.

The increasing interest in Ireland as a key tourist destination is the prime reason for Etravnet’s interest in the application of its ReZconnect technology to make the booking process of independent and unique lodgings more easily accessible to the traveler, according to Michael Brent, President & CEO of Etravnet.com. “Our ReZconnect technology allows easy access to otherwise difficult-to-book properties,” Brent concludes.

GoIreland.com views this strategic partnership as an excellent opportunity to expand its marketing reach. “We are delighted by the opportunities that our relationship with Etravnet.com provides us,” states Michel’le Matthews, GoIreland’s Director of Global Affiliate Development. “We will be utilizing the ReZconnect technology as a vehicle in the development of business for our Irish accommodation providers.”

While the two companies are focused on the implementation of ReZconnect for the GoIreland site, discussions on the expansion of their partnership are already underway. Plans include the implementation of Etravnet’s technology for European independent hotels and other types of European lodging accommodations, including historic homes, mansions, unique independent hotels, and charming Bed & Breakfast establishments, Etravnet.com’s Abrams adds.

“We are delighted by the opportunity to collaborate with GoIreland.com,” says Abrams. “Our technology uniquely allows us to efficiently make reservations at otherwise hard-to-book properties in an easy, efficient and cost effective manner. The traveler does not pay to use the service and has no expensive telephone or faxing charges which would result from trying to book with the lodging directly. We bring the world to the traveler, Abrams concludes.
