Talking with Fernando Vergolino, formerly of Spanish Heritage Tourism, and currently with Skylink Travel USA. Remembering 1985 and how terrible the travel industry was with one travel related disaster after another. In comparison Travel today seems much healthier in spite of concerns of safety.

Skylink is diversified into cargo air travel, car travel, services for government, the UN, UNICEF, logistics and security consultants to governments, the consumer tour service, and air consolidator which allows them to offer airfare to travel agencies at sharply reduced prices. More recently they have moved into the "heritage" side of the travel industry by making agreements with the Vatican and goIsreal.

Continental with 2 flights a day between the US and Israel, Delta flying non-stop to Israel as well as El Al flying non-stop. This luggage carries the "Checkpoint Friendly" logo which indicates to security staff that the laptop does not have to be removed from its protective padding.
