Thomas and St. John, Announces Plans for Live Remote Broadcasts
from St. Croix

When Stephanie Abrams planned live broadcasts from the US Virgin
Islands, she knew that twelve hours of broadcasting wouldn’t
be sufficient to cover all the alluring aspects of America’s
unique tropical paradise.

coast-to-coast show, Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams, and travel
expert on radio’s nationally syndicated Traveling Feet,
explains “our itinerary should have included broadcasts
from St. Croix. In order to get the show on the road, we changed
our schedule to four shows from St. Thomas and two from St.
John, bypassing St. Croix when plans for visiting couldn’t
be easily finalized. I can’t imagine presenting a complete
picture of the USVI without St. Croix participating. It is important
to present St. Croix to my 3 million listeners to Traveling
Feet and 5 million listeners to Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams
who tune in weekly for the kind of information that motivates
them to visit wonderful places! I am delighted to announce we
will broadcast live from St. Croix’s Carambola Golf and
Country Club which is perfect because we have a huge number

Abrams states that Carambola has been discussed
many times on her shows in interviews with former USVI Tourism
Commission Director, Henry De Lagarde, who was a frequent guest
on both of Abrams’ radio shows. “Henry was on the
air with me a few times each year for updates on the USVI. My
affection for the USVI and his passion and knowledge of the
region made him a great guest who bubbled over with the kind
of information that travelers need to motivate them to get up
and go. Henry always mentioned the beauty of Carambola and its
renowned golf course and I knew this place had to be amazing!
I can’t wait to introduce my audiences to St. Croix, another
facet of the diamond that is the USVI!” Abrams says.
