Talk show host makes local appearance

RENSSELAER, N.Y. -- A national radio talk show host made a local
appearance.
Renowned Travel Expert Stephanie Abrams broadcasted
her show "Traveling Feet" from the Rensselaer Rail
Station on Saturday. The nationally syndicated show reaches
about 2 million listeners.
Abrams says she came to the Capital Region
looking to highlight the area and make people aware of the many
benefits public transportation provides.
"I think it's really important for people
to be reminded of the value and opportunity that traveling with
public transportation, particularly with Amtrak,
offers them in terms of comfort, efficiency and a wonderful
opportunity to relax and unwind while you're getting where you
need to go,” said Abrams.

and tourism issues. She has been listed as one of the "100
Most Powerful Women in Travel" by Travel Agent Magazine.
