Syndicated Radio Talk Show Travel Expert Stephanie Abrams Broadcasts
Live from Ireland West Airport Knock Celebrating Inaugural Flights
from JFK & Boston"
Ireland, May 31, 2007 - When Business TalkRadio Network’s
travel expert host of “Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams!”
heard of plans for transatlantic routes between New York’s
JFK and Boston’s Logan Airport to Ireland West Airport
Knock (IWAK), located midway between Galway and Donegal, she
rejoiced at the ease of reaching the West and North West of
Ireland. Talks ensued between Abrams and the destinations immediately
served by the airport and FlyGlobespan, the award-winning low-cost
Scottish carrier whose first flights from New York and Boston
arrived at IWAK on May 28th and May 30th. Abrams, a strong supporter
of tourism to Ireland and recognized, along with Ken Livingston,
Mayor of London, England, as the 2007 Honorary Friend of Saint
Patrick by the Saint Patrick Centre in Downpatrick, County Down,
arranged to be at IWAK to welcome the first transatlantic passengers.
“It
is so exciting to see Ireland West Airport Knock welcoming US
passengers! This makes the West and North West of Ireland immediately
accessible to the traveler,” Abrams states. “This
modern airport allows passengers to breeze through without crowds,
traffic, lines or delays. If you think of airports as difficult
places, Ireland West Airport Knock breaks that mold!”
Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams, heard coast-to-coast on Sundays
in the 7pm to 9pm ET time slot ,will broadcast live from IWAK
on June 3rd. “I’ll also appear with Dave Isby, the
Barefoot Beachcomber, on Traveling Feet, a nationally syndicated
radio travel show on which I appear as the travel expert, on
Saturday, June 2nd airing from 11am to 1pm ET. Dave will be
anchoring on June 2nd from Pittsfield, MA, where Traveling Feet
broadcasts from Studio 35 at the Crowne Plaza Berkshires Hotel,
across from the hotel’s Underground Pub.
When
asked what the immediate region offers travelers, Abrams responds,
“Everything you could possible want from a trip! The West
and the North West of Ireland deliver the perfect incubator
for growing memories that last a lifetime, experiences that
touch your spirit and your senses, opportunities to touch history,
breath culture, immerse yourself in glorious landscapes and
seascapes, indulge in active sports like golfing, surfing, fishing,
hiking or sit atop a cliff with the poems of Yeats right in
Yeats Country! You’ll reflect on glorious days filled
with rainbows framing castles, remember singing and dancing
uplifting your spirits, and have the opportunity to visit places
unique to this region including Knock Shrine, Galway, Donegal
Castle, Yeats burial place, and the rugged coastlines of Donegal
Bay and Connemara where the kiss of the salt air mingle with
the romance of the region for an experience guaranteed to enrich
your life,” Abrams states noting that the Photo Gallery
at her award-winning site, www.sabrams.com, provides a preview,
“guaranteed to entice the traveler!” Abrams concludes.
