Issue 03, 2008: Affinia Manhattan Hotel: A dog's eye view.
Generally, we review hotels
through the eyes of our staff based on personal visits. But in
the case of the Affinia Manhattan, we decided the best way to
review this pet-welcoming hotel, was through the eyes of Downtown
Winston Brown, an English Springer Spaniel who is a frequent guest
at this well-located New York City gem. Winston, also know as
The Pants, due to the “cowboy chaps” coif created
by his groomer, is a well-traveled pooch with his own frequent-flyer
miles well over six-figures! We chatted with Winston to get the
low-down on the Affinia Manhattan to give you the inside Scoop.

2007: Dogs Rule. . .and
Sheep Should Respect That!
On a recent trip to Ireland,
I had the distinct pleasure of attending
a sheep herding competition held in a field in a town
called Clonbur in County Galway, Ireland. Held in
conjunction with a fair and a sheep-sheering contest,
the stars of the day were clearly the Border Collies
that were entered by their proud owners in a contest
that demonstrated the power of dogs over sheep! more>>

Expert Stephanie Abrams Creates Market for Berkshire County,
MA Tourism through Twinning Lanesborough, MA with Lanesborough,
Ireland. The Irish are Coming!

expert Stephanie Abrams, host of the nationally syndicated
