Generally, we review hotels through the eyes of our staff based on personal visits. But in the case of the Affinia Manhattan, we decided the best way to review this pet-welcoming hotel, was through the eyes of Downtown Winston Brown, an English Springer Spaniel who is a frequent guest at this well-located New York City gem. Winston, also know as The Pants, due to the “cowboy chaps” coif created by his groomer, is a well-traveled pooch with his own frequent-flyer miles well over six-figures! We chatted with Winston to get the low-down on the Affinia Manhattan to give you the inside Scoop.

July 1, 2009: Travel Expert Radio Host Celebrates Start of 8th Year of Nationally Syndicated Weekly Shows “Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams” and 200th Broadcast of “Traveling Feet”
Boston, MA (July 1, 2009)- Celebrating America’s birthday by featuring a variety of US tourism destinations is generally on the agenda at the two nationally syndicated radio shows Traveling Feet and Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams, according to the shows’ host and executive producer, travel expert Stephanie Abrams. But this July 4th is particularly exciting for Abrams and her producer, David Isby, who is known as the “Barefoot Beachcomber” on Traveling Feet and the “Traveling Companion” on Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams. The July 5th airing of Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams represents the completion of seven years of weekly Sunday broadcasts and the beginning of the duo’s eight year together producing the show. Additionally, Abrams and Isby will celebrate the 200th airing of Traveling Feet on Saturday, July 11, 2009.”

March 30, 2009: Radio & TV Show Host Travel Expert Stephanie Abrams Extends Ireland Trip to Visit County Donegal’s Inishowen and Broadcast from County Mayo’s Mount Falcon Lodge
Boston, MA – March 2009 – Proving her oft-repeated statement that Ireland is a great magnet for travelers, radio and television show host Stephanie Abrams announced today that she is extending her stay in Ireland to broadcast both Traveling Feet and Travel WITH Stephanie Abrams (www.sAbrams.com) this weekend from County Mayo. Abrams arrived at Shannon Airport last week to focus on the west coast of Ireland and Northern Ireland which included a broadcast of Traveling Feet on March 28th from the Cliffs of Moher Visitors Centre in conjunction with the luncheon held there by the 48th National Congress of SKAL International Republic of Ireland held in the Shannon Region. Abrams, recognized as a leader and expert in the travel industry, is a member of the SKAL Boston Chapter. Her shows, which broadcast five hours of new programming about travel each weekend, reach an audience of nine million targeted listeners coast-to-coast. Abrams will broadcast live on April 4th and April 5th from Mount Falcon County House Hotel in Foxford, County Mayo, a resort that Abrams describes as “a fairytale experience in luxury set in an idyllic country estate atmosphere where stately elegance intersects with grace, charm, comfort and relaxation!”

Boston, MA- February 28, 2009- Nationally syndicated radio show host Stephanie Abrams describes herself as “the picket in the fence that stands at an angle while all the other pickets stand straight up,” referring to her views on companies canceling meetings, conferences, conventions and incentive trips which have become a
political football. Abrams says she is doing her best to inform her audiences of the importance of such events and the ramifications on the economy from cancellation of group plans.
